Great to see that finally Quick 8.1 will be available soon especially for Entry template.

Just two questions Rob,

1. Did Snapps free templates are already compatible with QuickR 8.1 or did we need to wait ? If not, have you any idea of a delivered date for a compatible version ?

2. In January Snapps announced the free avaibility of all Anyplace products for mid-febuary. It seems you have little delay on that avaibility probably du to hard work you made on QuickR 8.1. Do you have any idea of when you will made all available ?

1. Nope, there are a lot of changes in 8.1. Some base features seem to work in forms but the UI is all screwed up, and some js variables and many class names change.
2. Yes I need to go back and update that post. We got hit with a slew of work for clients s soon as returning from Lotusphere. It'll be a slow trickle of releases starting with Designer soon, no exact dates yet.

Rob, we are about to launch quickr in our environment and were hoping to have the SNAPPS templates included in the launch (8.1).
Are any of the templates working for 8.1 or do they all need to be reworked?

We are VERY interested in installing 8.1 as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we are dependent on Snapps templates (unfortunate only because of the delay.... We obviously love the templates!). 8.1 has many "must-have" features. PLEASE let us know when you will be ready and PLEASE make it soon!

@Eric - well that's good news and bad...love that you use the templates! I've scrubbed five of them for 8.1. The other 6 need to be done and then repackaged.

Making it as soon as I can.

Hi Rob,

Which templates were "scrubbed" in 8.1? We, too, are using the templates with 8.0.0.2 and LOVE them, but really want to upgrade to 8.1 because of all the new features.

@Debbie - I probably should have used another word! I am progressing through the templates and making the code changes and UI changes they need to work in 8.1. I'm on the first pass, all functionality will be tested in the second pass. Then I'll do fresh installs on a new 8.1 server, and hand off to Troy to package for the website. As I mentioned my goal is a single "source code" download, and individual place downloads.

Sadly I've been distracted since Tuesday morning by a production server hanging every 3 hours or so.
